I can't believe it. Grady is now one! He is pretty much running at this point and wants to do everything his brother does. We kept his birthday party small and invited the family to attend. Grady enjoyed watching mommy open all of his gifts and also liked playing with them.
When it got to his cake he was all smiles while everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to him. He was really enjoying being the center of attention. He even enjoyed when my brother accidentally blew out the candle. Although, once he put his hand into the cake and got icing all over it, he was less then thrilled. He began screaming and crying (wish I had a picture) and wanted nothing more to do with his cake or the party.
Thankfully Mason decided he was going to enjoy his brother's cake for him. He proceeded to climb up onto the counter and enjoyed licking the icing and eating Grady's cake with his fingers.
